Michael S. Mulholland

Chief Executive Officer

Michael Mulholland brings over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, sales, life cycle management and product and business development. He has successfully commercialized products and built businesses in both the US and Europe and has held significant leadership roles as an executive and general manager.

Mr. Mulholland was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cephalon’s US pharmaceutical business which is comprised of over 800 employees, spans CNS, pain and oncology and generates annual revenues in excess of $2 billion. In this role he spearheaded numerous product acquisitions, launches and partnerships which lead to top line growth of $1 billion over just four years.

Prior to joining Cephalon, Mr. Mulholland held various leadership roles at Wyeth including Global Vice President, Neuroscience Marketing and Head of Sales and Marketing in their UK affiliate which was Wyeth’s largest ex-US operation. In the UK he was responsible for all commercial activities for a product portfolio spanning CNS, gastroenterology and Women’s Health Care and generating $800 million in annual sales.

Earlier in his career Mr. Mulholland held roles of increasing responsibility in both sales and marketing at Pfizer, Bristol -Myers Squibb and Pharmacia where he had a consistent record of building high performance teams and delivering strong operating results.

Mr. Mulholland holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and sits on the Board of Advisors to the Fordham School of Business.




Dr. Michael Naveh

General Manager
Dr. Naveh is a graduate of the Zurich University in Switzerland. Prior to joining PainReform Ltd, he served 4 years as CEO at Vecta Ltd and 2 years at Renopharm Ltd. Michael served also for seven years as a General Manager of Israel’s largest biological vaccines producing plant (BLT) of TEVA. In addition, Dr. Naveh was a member of R&D teams of TEVA and ABIC for several years and 13 years as a fellow researcher at the Faculty of Life Science, Department of Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology at the Tel-Aviv University.



Stephen A. Cooper, D.M.D, Ph.D.

Head, Clinical Development

Dr. Cooper has enjoyed a long and successful career in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
From 1971-1995, Dr. Cooper served in various academic appointments including Professor and Associate Dean at Georgetown University, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.
From 1995-2005, he served as a Senior Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, where he designed the clinical development plans for Advil Liquigels, Advil Allergy and Sinus and Advil PM.
He also holds patents for various analgesic combination products. He currently is a Board member of the Eastern Pain Association.
Dr. Cooper is most well-known as the developer of the Dental Impaction Pain Model, one of the most widely used pain models in the world. He has published in peer reviewed journals over 100 clinical papers on a wide variety of analgesic drugs.




Rodney Kasan

Head, Product Development

Mr. Kasan has over 40 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation and process development, 37 of these with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
Mr. Kasan was responsible for the management and development of over 200 approved products in North America , the EU and Israel .
In his last position at Teva, Mr. Kasan was Corporate Vice President, Pharmaceutical Chief Technology Officer.
Other positions at Teva included:

  • Vice President for Global R&D ( Generic ) Integration
  • Deputy Head of the Global R&D Division
  • Director of Generic Pharmaceutical R&D

Mr.Kasan is the recipient of the prestigious Rothschild Prize for Innovation/Export granted for the development of Copaxone for the treatment of multiple sclerosis .
